How MY VILLA RISE collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our website or contact us.

This policy applies to the website www.myvillarise.com and to your exchanges with the agency through its other channels (social media, messaging services and booking platforms).
Data we collect
Website forms: name, phone number, email address, message and, where applicable, your search criteria (type of property, budget, dates, number of people…).
Bookings and rental requests: guests’ identity and contact details, dates of stay, amounts and information useful for the stay.
Messages received via Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Airbnb or Booking.com: your name or username, your account identifier on these services and the content of our exchanges.
Technical browsing data: like any website, our server automatically records in its logs the IP address, the date and time of the visit, the pages viewed, the referring page and the browser type. These logs are used for website security and to compute overall traffic statistics (number of visits and page views per day).
We do not collect sensitive data (health, opinions, religion…) and we ask you not to send us any.
Why we use your data
To answer your requests for information, viewings, quotes or appointments.
To manage bookings, stays and the properties entrusted to us (sales, rentals, property management and construction project management).
To provide commercial follow-up of your property project.
To send you offers of properties matching your search, only if you have agreed to this. You can ask to stop receiving them at any time.
To ensure the security and proper functioning of the website, and to comply with our legal, accounting and tax obligations.
Legal bases
We process your data on one of the following bases: your consent (for example to receive offers), the performance of a contract or of pre-contractual steps taken at your request (booking, mandate, quote, sale), compliance with our legal obligations (accounting, taxation), or our legitimate interest in replying to messages received, following up the client relationship and securing the website.
This processing complies with Tunisian Organic Law No. 2004-63 of 27 July 2004 on the protection of personal data.
Who has access to your data
Your data is used only by the MY VILLA RISE team, each according to their role (front desk, sales, quotes, property management).
It may be processed by our technical service providers, only to the extent necessary for their service: hosting of the website and our management tools, Beds24 (booking and calendar management), Meta (Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp) for messages exchanged on these services, Airbnb and Booking.com for bookings made through them, and Google (Google Analytics) for website audience measurement, only if you have accepted it. Each of these providers applies its own privacy policy.
Some of these providers are located outside Tunisia (in particular in the European Union or the United States). We only send them the data needed for the service provided.
We never sell or rent your personal data. It is only disclosed to the authorities when required by law.
Retention period
Enquiries and prospects: 3 years after the last contact with you, then deletion or anonymisation.
Clients, contracts, bookings and invoices: for the duration of the relationship, then for the period required by law (in particular for accounting and tax obligations).
Messages received via social media and messaging services: kept with your file, for the same periods.
Technical server logs: around 14 days. The traffic statistics derived from them are overall figures that do not allow you to be identified.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data: encrypted connection (HTTPS) on the website, access to our tools restricted to the team with personal credentials, access rights limited by role, and regular backups.
As no system is infallible, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of an incident affecting your data, we will take the necessary measures and inform you where the law requires.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, the right to rectification, the right to erasure and the right to object to its use, in particular for sending offers. You can also withdraw any consent given at any time.
If you live in the European Union, you also have the rights provided by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): restriction of processing, data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.
In Tunisia, you may also refer the matter to the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data (INPDP).
How to exercise your rights
Write to us at contact@myvillarise.com or via WhatsApp on +216 99 573 082, giving your name and the phone number, email address or account you used to contact us.
We may ask you for additional information to verify your identity. We reply within 30 days at most.
